1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and CountdownTill ("we", "us", or "our") concerning your access to and use of the CountdownTill website, widget embed services, and associated web tools.

By accessing or using our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with all of these terms, you are expressly prohibited from using the service.

2. Free Use & Widget Embed License

We grant you a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to:

• Create unlimited personal, educational, or commercial countdown timers.
• Embed our countdown widgets via <iframe> into third-party applications including Notion, Obsidian, Coda, WordPress, personal blogs, enterprise intranets, and OBS Studio for live broadcasts.
• Share generated countdown URLs across social media, emails, and messaging platforms.

3. Acceptable Use & Prohibitions

When using CountdownTill, you agree not to:

• Use the service to create timers or content that promotes illegal acts, hate speech, harassment, defamation, or malicious activities.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or attack our server infrastructure or content delivery network through automated denial-of-service (DDoS) requests.
• Reverse-engineer or re-brand our service as a paid standalone software product without written authorization.
• Scrape or mass-harvest curated event data for commercial resale databases.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

Unless otherwise indicated, the CountdownTill codebase, user interface graphics, proprietary clock face implementations, 3D CSS rendering engines, and brand assets are owned by or licensed to CountdownTill and are protected by copyright, trademark, and unfair competition laws.

5. Accuracy of Time & Service Disclaimer

While our timers use synchronized client-side clock drift calculations to achieve maximum accuracy, CountdownTill is provided on an "AS-IS" and "AS-AVAILABLE" basis.

You agree that your use of the service will be at your sole risk. CountdownTill should not be relied upon as a primary fail-safe for critical life-safety applications, air traffic timing, or legal submission cutoffs where millisecond discrepancies could result in liability.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event will CountdownTill, its developers, or affiliates be liable to you or any third party for any direct, indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental, special, or punitive damages, including lost profits or lost data arising from your use of the service.

7. Changes to Terms & Inquiries

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be indicated by the "Last Revised" date at the top of this document. Continued use of the website following changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
